Since 2003, Freedom and Life Counseling (501c3 non-profit) has helped individuals and couples experience breakthrough in their emotional and spiritual health. We offer a concentrated counseling format that provides in-depth understanding of your challenges, as well as tools to deal with them more effectively. At Freedom and Life Counseling we promote mental, emotional, and spiritual growth by integrating the spiritual with evidence-based clinical treatment methods. Each individual experience is different, but the depth of understanding and the healing experienced is an encounter you are likely to remember the rest of your life.

Freedom and Life Counseling was founded on the call to restore the human heart through the application of clinical and spiritual tools. The journey to wholeness is a complex process and is best approached through focus, flexibility, and the direction of the Holy Spirit. Our unique intensives include:

What We Offer
Our Services
At Freedom and Life Counseling, we primarily utilize an individual concentrated intensive format that allows for 2 or more years of “traditional” hourly counseling progress in just a week. This method allows time and attention to be focused on lasting understanding and change. The restoration that comes with taking a break from daily life also allows for healing. Our location provides the ideal setting for our intensives. Whether you want to relax peacefully or find your adventure, the Buena Vista, Colorado area is perfect. Our staff of experienced Licensed Professional Counselors will walk you through your journey one-on-one in order to help you fully understand your issues as well as find lasting healing. We believe that when Jesus said He came to “heal the brokenhearted,” He intends to do so. A core foundation of the Freedom and Life method is to fully integrate spiritual and clinical approaches. Even if you are unsure about your faith, we can help you achieve your goals.

Our Programs
We offer a number of program options designed to suit your needs. Our primary program is a five-day (Monday-Friday) counseling intensive, which can be extended as many weeks as you may need. See the Counseling & Intensives page for program details on every program we offer. If your time is hard to find, we offer a shortened program in as little as three days.
